STOP PRESS _ Pete's Painting Magpie Menace currently
exhibiting at Birds in Art in USA has been further selected with 59 other
works to tour Art Museums in the States during 2010. (Selection in final 60
from world wide entry approaching 1000 ) |

Pete's painting, "Fluff, Furrows and Feathers"
was
been accepted ( along with 115 others ) from 997 international entries for
the prestigious , juried exhibition "Birds In Art" at the Leigh Yawkey
Woodson Art Museum in USA. This is quite a 'feather in her cap' and is the
dream of every aspiring bird artist. The Exhibition opens on 6th September
2008 at the LYW Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pete's selected entry for Birds
in Art, Fluff Furrows and Feathers (see above), has
achieved further selection to the final 60 art works which will form a
traveling exhibition to other prestigious Art Museums in the United States
for the whole of 2009. |

Following a successful exhibition at Guangzhou
International Art Fair 2008, Pete has been asked to co-design a limited
edition series of ceramic Australian Parrots with Mr Li from Guangdong,
China. Hopefully a selection of these will be launched at an Exhibition in
Guangzhou December 2010 |

 | Pete has again been invited to Guangzhou International Art Exhibition in
2008. While also invited to Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing exhibitions,
time and circumstances preclude her presence at these prestigious
events. Pete was invited to exhibit in China at the Guangzhou International
Art Fair 2006 and 2007 |
 | Double achievement - The charcoal " Namibian Majesty " has been selected
as a finalist from a national entry into the prestigious Dominique Segan
Drawing Award and the photograph " Sunset Through Jellyfish" has been
selected as a finalist in the equally prestigious Julie Millowick
Photographic Award. Both Exhibitions are to be seen at the Old Castlemaine
Gaol as part of the Castlemaine State Festival. |

from the inaugural Heidelberg Art School Foundation Exhibition 2006 |

 | FINALIST SELECTION in INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, August 2004 Pete has
just been selected as a finalist in The Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize
2004, the major Australian natural history art exhibition held by the Museum
of South Australia. This is a most prestigious and exciting exhibition
attracting well over 500 entries from some of the foremost wildlife artists,
of both national and international repute, with only 35 entries selected for
the works on paper category. The entry is "Water Drops " - a compilation of
pelican images in charcoal. |
