Pastel Society Victoria Annual Exhibition 2011.
Pete's painting "A Palette of Feathers" received the Best Animal Kingdom
Award. Judges comments " The decorative placement of the peacock recalls
oriental art. It is unashamedly attractive in its electric blues and greens
and is very confidently conceived and drawn."

Australian Guild of Realist Artists. Pete has been
awarded Signatory Status for her consistently high standard of entries in
the past two years.

A third international selection this year . The
painting "Ethereal Dances" has achieved finalist selection in the Artists
For Conservation Exhibition 2011. This Canadian exhibition attracts a huge
entry from the 500 members who live in all stations of the earth. Pete is a
signatory member of this association |

Pete's painting " Birds Eye View" has achieved
international selection by a panel of 10 judges as a finalist in the
prestigious Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize 2011 at the Museum of South
Australia in July. (103 pieces were selected from a total entry of 817).
The Painting was awarded Best in Show at The Australian Guild of Realist
Artists Winter Exhibition.

FOUR
IN A ROW !! - Pete's painting - "Red Eye" Wattle Crane - has been
selected as one of 112 finalists from an international entry of 957 works
for the prestigious Birds In Art 2011 Exhibition, at Leigh Yawkey Woodson
Art Museum<http://www.lywam.org/birdsinart/>,
Wasau, Wisconsin, USA. This is four consecutive years that Pete has had a
painting selected for this most prestigious exhibition, the pinnacle of bird
art worldwide.

Westpac Bank are now giving sponsorship to the CFA,
and they have held an auction of donated art works at the local Whittlesea
branch to raise funds. One of Pete's paintings "Hands Across the Fires"
depicting a rescued Joey with helping human hands, and which Pete dedicated
to all those volunteers who gave of themselves so selflessly after the
devastating fires of Black Saturday, was purchased by Westpac Bank
themselves to hang in their Whittlesea Branch.

STOP PRESS _ *Pete's painting, "Magpie Menace", is
still flying round galleries in USA with the 59 other art works selected
from the Birds in Art 2009 Exhibition. It is expected home early 2011.

Pete's painting, "Fluff, Furrows and Feathers" which
was accepted ( along with 115 others ) from 997 international entries for
the prestigious , juried exhibition "Birds In Art" at the Leigh Yawkey
Woodson Art Museum in USA has now returned home safely. |

Pete has now exhibited for
three consecutive years at the International Art Fair in Guangzhou China -
2006 2007 2008. Due to the economic downturn, she decided not to exhibit in
2009. BUT
she has now been approached by the prestigious ART64 Gallery in Guangdong to
gather a small group of Australian Artists to exhibit their art as part of a
cultural development program between Australia and China in November 2010.
This is now all in process, with three other artists on board, and cultural
interaction events are being planned. |

Following a successful
exhibition at Guangzhou International Art Fair 2008, Pete has been asked to
co-design a limited edition series of ceramic Australian Parrots with Mr Li
from Guangdong, China. Hopefully a selection of these will be launched at an
Exhibition in Guangzhou December 2010 |

Pete has also been approached
by a tiger sanctuary in India to join an international group of artists for
a period of material research, with the view to producing works which can be
exhibited and sold to raise funds for the sanctuary. The possibility of a
following material researching trip to Nepal and possibly an Exhibition of
Work in Kathmandu is also being explored. All this in January- February 2011.

class community of artists sharing the common passion for nature art and
conservancy. |

Another National Award! -
Pete's painting of dolphins - " Depths of Blue" - was awarded a gold Medal
at the prestigious Wildlife Art Society of Australasia Annual Exhibition.
Her other painting - "Winds and Windswells" featuring an Australasian Gannet
was also awarded a Highly Commended Certificate. WOW!
