WILDLIFE ART IN FOCUS:
Resume Pete Marshall
wildlife and environmental artist
After a busy veterinary career, Pete has changed horses and followed her passion for art and wildlife She has achieved many awards and accolades as her career has developed over the last 25 years, and is now one of the internationally recognised artists in the field, with acceptance into international juried exhibitions and publications as well as at home in Australia.
This recognition is also realised in an invitation to become a Signatory Member of the international group Artists For Conservation, and the achievement of gaining Signatory Member status in the Australian Guild of Realist Artists, The Colored Pencil Society of America and The Society of Animal Artists USA
Pete and Ian are now very fortunate to be able to travel to wilderness areas around the world, and meet with conservation and rehabilitation concerns to learn about their programmes and efforts to preserve and protect. Where possible and appropriate, Pete has donated art works and images to help in some small way to further these projects in their aims and objectives.
